About Shelcy

My name is Shelcy, and I have 4 years of childcare experience, especially working with infants 0-12 and toddlers ages 1-2. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education (ECE) at DMACC. I am CPR certified and have completed childcare courses through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, including Universal Precautions, Essentials Child Care Preservice Online Series, and Passport to Early Childhood Education. I have experience with supervision, meals, diapering, nap time, educational activities, and open-ended play. I speak both English and Spanish and enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel safe and cared for. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, creative, joyful I like working with kids because I like helping them learned, grow. I'm looking for a job that I could used my experience of my childcare experience I started working with kids when I graduated from high school I find a early childhood center.
