About Shelby

Hello! I am a career nanny/house manager and currently work full time M-F for a DC family and have been in that role for over 4 years. I'm looking to add weekend work to my schedule. My graduate studies in early childhood education, along with Early Child Development coursework, have provided me with a strong foundation for creating engaging and supportive environments. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with kids. I am comfortable caring for up to four children across all age groups, from infants to pre-teens. I communicate with parents through verbal updates and text messages, always respecting their preferred method. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
