Hi! I'm Shelby, and I've been working with children for over 16 years. I'm a former elementary teacher with 6 years of classroom experience in kindergarten, 3rd, and 5th grade. I nannied full-time for a newborn during his first 9 months and cared for a little boy for two summers. I was also an overnight camp counselor for 5 years. My first job outside of babysitting was teaching preschool gymnastics in high school, and I'm 8, 10, and 18 years older than my siblings-so I've truly been around kids my whole life. I'm now a mom to a sweet, easygoing baby girl, and I'm looking for nanny opportunities where she can come along. I'm open to watching your child in my home or yours. I prefer to work weekdays so my family has weekends together, but I'm open to occasional weekend care. I bring a calm, nurturing presence and a deep understanding of child development. I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit!

Shelby has kept my two kiddos numerous times. She is great with the kiddos and we all adore her. The kids love her because she is energetic and fun. My husband and I love her because she is energetic but she also has a very calm easy going personality, responsible, and great work ethic. She was/is always punctual and reliable. I have a boy and a girl and she does great with both. My son is the typical rambunctious boy and Shelby has no problems keeping up with him and he always looks forward to seeing her. We sure miss her since she went to college! I highly recommend Shelby.
