Hi, I'm Shelby! I've lived on Maui for 7 years and I'm a proud mama of three little boys. I love to teach, create, and have fun! I've been nannying and babysitting since I was 14, and caring for kids truly brings me joy.

I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your little ones, whether you need time to get things done, a date night, or regular childcare. I'll be with my boys part-time, so let's see if our schedules align!

Shelby came and watched our 5 month old little guy on 2 separate occasions while we were on vacation. He can sometimes be a handful as he currently likes to be held all the time but Shelby was patient with him and we felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She has a calm demeanor and a sincerity when working with kids. We would definitely rehire her again!

Shelby watched our 4-month old twins for us. She was really great with them and got to know each one individually. They were really comfortable with her and calmed right down when she pick them up/played with them. I highly recommend her and would love to have her watch our babies again anytime we need some help.

Shelby did a great job taking care of my toddler while we were on vacation. She was on time and ready to jump in. She did meals, pool, naps and bedtime as we discussed and my little guy enjoyed playing with her! We recommend her and hope to visit again

Shelby was great with our 21-month old son. She was able to come and meet with us for an interview on short notice and care for our son two days after. She has a very caring and soft nature, and I feel really lucky that we found her!

We have hired Shelby to babysit our almost 2 year old daughter on the weekends and this has been working great for us. After an hour of meeting her, my daughter was already playing games with her and was comfortable around her. Miriam is well educated and we are very comfortable leaving our precious one in her care. She sends us text message updates, so that we know everything is alright without having to call in. She is always on time, always with a happy face and we are very fortunate to have her look after our little one.

Shelby was very helpful in a last minute date night. She was very punctual very friendly and was great with our 5 month old baby!

Shelby was great helping us with our two boys. We had her watch the boys at our hotel while we went to dinner for a few hours. When we came back both boys were in bed and asleep! :) She's a very sweet person, very honest and really cute with kids. Next time we're on on Maui will definitely be giving her a call. :)

Shelby did a great job with our little one. She followed all our instructions and took great care of our 7 week old. He couldn't tell me, but I think he loved spending time with her. She was polite and energetic and we would definitely hire her again!

We hired Shelby while I was visiting my parents on Maui. We asked her to help care for three children, ages 11 months - 4 years. Shelby was very caring with the children. In addition, she was very willing to pitch in with light housework. She is sweet, understanding, and very enthusiastic. Shelby was also very communicative via text, so we felt very comfortable asking her to take the two older children to the park every morning. She worked with us for 4 days. I would definitely hire Shelby again next time I am back on the Island.

We hired Shelby for a date night recently and she was all around amazing! She is very kind and sweet. My son couldn't wait to wake up the next morning to tell me all about his evening with her the night before. It was our first time using Care.com but she made us feel so at ease and we knew right away our son was in good hands. We would 100% hire her again and highly recommend her!!
