About Shelby

I am a recent college graduate looking for a pet sitting/baby sitting job that is flexible to my work hours. I work a 9-6 already and don't want to compromise my current job with anything extra. I started working with animals professionally when I was 20. I worked at a pet boarding and daycare facility where I learned much about animal needs and their varying personalities. As many others, I've had pets my entire life and have experienced caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, and chickens. I have also worked with kiddos quite a bit. I have been a summer camp counselor the past 2 years and a lead counselor this past summer. At these jobs I was also an outdoor educator and was able to teach kids about the natural world while engaging them in fun activities and games. I adore hanging out with little ones and being able to create new memories for them. My skills include waking pets, feeding/washing and general care for both pets and kids, and also tutoring for kids.
