About Shelby

Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for. My previous babysitting roles motivated me to continue on this path. I have one year of experience caring for children, and I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I have some college experience and hold current First Aid Training , CPR Training, and Life Gaurd certifications. My sister has autism and I volunteered as a peer tutor all 4 years of high school and have strong education and experience with kids/teens with disabilities. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and their preferred communication method. I can provide verbal updates at pickup and regular updates via text or phone call. Since I'm a skilled swimmer, I can provide swimming supervision for your children. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and dedication to your family.
