About Shelby

I'm Shelby, a 31-year-old with a bachelor's degree as a Board Certified Music Therapist! I have worked in several child care fields as well as all ages, including special needs, and I truly adore people and animals. I am creative, friendly, energetic, playful, and willing to work with caregivers to enforce household rules. I enjoy playing all games with children, especially outdoor activities, physical sports, board games, puzzles, and anything of interest. I believe learning should be fun! I communicate with parents using their preferred method, including verbal updates, texts, calls, and photos or videos. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, swimming supervision, and anything you might need! I have had First Aid Training, CPR Training, Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework as well as a CDA for home visiting. My passion is helping and caring for those around me, and I would love to bring that joy to your family!
