About Shelby

Hello, I'm Shelby! I'm a Board-Certified Music Therapist and teacher currently working at MKU and looking to transfer back into nannying as I am expecting in December 2026. I plan on continuing to work as a nanny/teacher following a brief recovery around Christmas and New Years, but am willing to discuss all of the nitty gritty once we have matched! I have worked in several child care fields as well as all ages, including special needs, and I truly adore people and animals. I have 3 (overly) friendly dogs and 2 little lazy cats that enjoy sunbathing. I believe that learning should be fun, so we may get a little creative and messy, but clean up well! I communicate with parents using their preferred method and I am looking into more methods of communication as I transform an outdoor room attached to my house into a learning area for children! I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, swimming supervision, and anything you might need.
