About Shelby

Hi! I'm Shelby! I've been nannying professionally for over 10 years! During my career I've had the privilege of caring for newborns, toddlers, special needs children, a set of 7yo twins and a family of 3 children (5, 8 &10) who tragically lost their mother just 2 months prior to my arrival. The lessons I learned from each of these families have helped shape so much of the person I've become and I am forever grateful to each of them. Those experiences have taught me that I am capable of raising a newborn, potty-training a toddler, managing a household, cooking multi-course meals, and providing structure + clear boundaries with respect and kindness. As a fun bonus, I also know how to keep a Kosher kitchen! Overall, I'm a free spirit with an open mind. I love animals, love to cook, I LOVE being a nanny and I find it easy to connect with kids in a way that creates a safe and nurturing space in which they can thrive.
