About Shelby

Hi, I'm Shelby! I have 4 years of paid childcare experience caring for children from newborns to 13 years old, including children with different needs. Such as children with autism, including a nonverbal child, ADHD, and various health conditions. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant, CPR trained, and First Aid trained. I'm passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel safe and loved. I'm patient, dependable, and hands-on, and I love keeping kids engaged with arts and crafts, outdoor activities, board games, and educational play. I'm also happy to help with homework, simple meals, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I'm big on communication, consistency, and respecting each family's rules and routines. I want parents to feel comfortable and confident knowing their children are in caring, capable hands. My goal is to build trusting relationships with families and become someone they can truly depend on!
