About Shelby

I am an experienced childcare professional with a strong background working with children of all ages. I began my career at 16 in a daycare setting, where I worked as a preschool teacher, supported toddler classrooms, became an infant teacher, and worked my way up to Assistant Director. I am currently a nonprofit coordinator supporting school-age children and teens, giving me a well-rounded understanding of child development. My passion is working with infants, creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment. I love to teach by learning through play and nature. I am CPR and First Aid certified, hold my EEC Essentials certificate, and have a clean driving record. I am also pursuing my Master's in Social Work to continue supporting children and families in a clinical setting.
