About Shelby

Hello, my name Shelby! I have worked in Rhode Island as a licensed CNA, with 10. 5 years experience in different settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, adult day center, and home care. I am very familiar with dementia and the different emotions and behaviors that coexist the disease, hospice care, colostomy bags, foley catheters and bedpans, glucose checks, vitals- including manual blood pressure with radial pulse, and respirations using my own equipment, bathing and dressing, toileting assistance and incontinence care, medication reminders, light house keeping, meal preparation, different lift machinery and transfer devices, such as the hoyer lift, sit-to-stand lift, slide board devices, stand and pivot transfers using my own provided gait belt. I do not smoke, am comfortable with pets, and have reliable transportation. I can be of use as full time care, respite care, or fill-ins within my listed availability.
