About Shelby

Hi! This is Shelby, and I'm a teacher certified childcare provider with over 3 years of experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, and older children. Preschoolers are my specialty, but I naturally connect and vibe with school-age kids as well. I like to think I bring a young, upbeat, and playful energy to my work while staying responsible, structured, and attentive. I believe kids learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and able to have fun. With a background in art school, I love incorporating creative projects, imaginative play, and hands-on activities into daily routines. I pride myself in being patient, dependable, and great at balancing silly moments with professional child appropriate guidance. My goal is always to create a safe, positive environment where kids feel confident being themselves and while their parents feel at ease. Currently looking into shifting from school based childcare to baby sitting/nannying!
