About Shelby

Hi! My name is Shelby and I've always been drawn to education and childcare. I get along well with kids, and honestly I usually have just as much fun as they do when I'm with them. I'm interested in house sitting, dog walking, pet care jobs, as well as babysitting and childcare positions. I started working with kids in high school. I spent three years working at a preschool. Since then, I've continued babysitting and pet sitting throughout college, and I've also spent time in classrooms during my student teaching placements. I love spending time with my pets, I have two little dachshunds. I also enjoy reading and making art. I also like volunteering at the animal shelter to walk dogs. My top three childcare skills are being easygoing, patient, and creative. I'm good at staying calm and coming up with fun activities to keep kids engaged
