About Shelby

I'd describe my personality as kind, positive, and empathetic. I enjoy working with kids because I love getting to help them learn and seeing there personalities grow. This is a rewarding experience for me because I like getting to be a positive role model and getting to support their development. I also hope to be a pediatric nurse in the future! I started working with kids when I was 13 years old. I have worked with kids from 2 months old to 13 years old. In my spare time, I like to go for runs and walks, hangout with family and friends. I love to cook and bake as well as spend time in nature! One thing you should know about me is that I have been working in childcare for over about six years now and have lots of experience with a wide range of ages! My skills include responsibility, patience and emotional understanding, and engagement/creativity. Fun fact I am fluent in Japanese and am currently learning Spanish!
