I'm Shelby -- a caring, hard-working individual who loves helping others and staying busy. I've spent the last few years in roles ranging from cooking in fast-paced kitchens to supporting people with disabilities and working in customer service. No matter the job, I take pride in doing it well and making a positive difference in someone's day. I'd describe my personality as caring, dependable, and genuine. I enjoy caring for seniors because it gives me purpose -- making their day easier, connecting with their stories, and being someone they can rely on is incredibly rewarding. I started caring for seniors in my early twenties as a DSP at Hills and Dales and then at R. E. M Ohio for three years. My skills include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, feeding, meal prep, and mobility support. In my free time, I enjoy painting, playing disc golf, and spending time with my dog. Families can trust that I treat their loved ones with compassion and respect.
