About Shelby

Caring for children is truly my passion, and I love creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn and grow. I have four years of childcare experience caring for up to three children at a time. I also worked in the toddler room at La Petite Academy, supporting children through daily routines, learning activities, and play-based learning. With coursework in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development, I enjoy encouraging creativity through crafts, games, reading, and outdoor play. I am CPR and First Aid certified and happy to help with meal prep, light housekeeping, homework, and swimming supervision. My goal is to be a dependable, positive, and trustworthy support for your family. I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, caring, and responsible. I love working with kids because I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and build confidence while creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where they feel happy and cared for.
