About Shelby

Hi, I'm Shelby! I'm CPR certified with EMT training, so safety is always my top priority. I also work as a Registered Behavior Technician, giving me experience supporting children with different needs in a patient and structured way. I'm dependable, attentive, and love creating a fun, safe environment for kids while you're away. I like working with kids because I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel safe, and it's rewarding to build positive connections while making a real difference in their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy staying active with surfing, hiking, and swimming. One thing families should know about me is that I prioritize safety and consistency above everything, and I genuinely treat every child with patience, care, and respect as if they were my own. My top three childcare skills are safety awareness, behavior support and patience from my RBT experience, and strong communication with both children and parents to keep everyone informed and comfortable.
