About Shelby

I am a TTC major planning to pursue Speech-Language Pathology. I'm an active member of Phi Beta Phi and previously served on the Junior PP, where I strengthened my leadership and communication skills. I maintain a flexible schedule to provide consistent support to families. I have extensive experience working with children in structured environments. I worked as a gymnastics coach for young children, teaching foundational skills while creating a safe, encouraging space. I've been a volleyball referee, a volunteer coach for a 10-and-under team, and taught a volleyball skills class for children 8 and under, helping me explain concepts in ways kids understand. Growing up with a sister with intellectual and developmental disabilities inspired my passion for supporting children who need patience and individualized approaches. My goal is to help students feel confident and capable while building skills beyond the classroom.
