Hi my name is Shelby! I have always had a love for children and animals so my whole high school career was based around extracurricular activities and classes that included children and animals. I also have 2 dachshunds and 1 sharpei. I was a student teacher in my senior year of high school with 2nd grade students. I also did FFA in high school and did tour guiding through FFA with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as well as raising animals for the AISD livestock show for 4 years. As the president of Nimitz FFA, I participated in the career fair for 1st- 8th grade. I also did course work in child development my Junior and Senior year of high school. I was inducted into the national technically honor society and was a member of FCCLA.
