I moved to Dallas (Design District) this year with my husband. I currently attend University of Houston for Psychology and Family Studies. I have 10 years of experience with children and teens (ages 6 mon. - 17 yrs.). I have worked in a variety of roles such as a babysitter, nanny, camp leader, teachers aid, & daycare coordinator. I also have experience as a former CNA as well as caring for children with special needs. I am an experienced cook, a detailed cleaner, an animal lover, and I enjoy crafting! I am vaccinated (plus boosted) and have a clean driving record. Ideally, I am looking for work until the end of the year with a family in need of after-school care for a couple of days a week. I love kids of all ages but would love to find a job with older children (7-14yrs). I am very flexible, dependable, and easy-going. I went out of town for a trip and my husband needed help while he worked. By the grace of God I came across Shelby's profile. She is sweet, attentive, and the most amazing caregiver. She took care of my 14 month old son and our 2 large dogs. Because of Shelby I was able to enjoy my trip! When I came home my son was literally running around the house. He started walking while she was here. I wish I could give her 10 stars! I will definitely be asking Shelby to come back!
