About Shelby

Hi! My name is Shelby, I'm 30 and I have experience in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I started babysitting while I was in high school for neighbors and then worked at the on campus daycare my first year of college. During my sophomore year of college, I interned at Brookline Elementary in Boston, MA for a kindergarten class. Personal and financial issues caused me to take leave from school, and I took a break from childcare and early childhood education. Since then, I've worked in restaurants as a server and bartender. I have recently left the restaurant industry as it is not the lifestyle I want for myself anymore and I plan to have children of my own in the next few years. I genuinely look forward to spending time with children again. I also have extensive experience caring for cats and dogs.
