Shelbi came to us as a blessing in disguise. We were looking for someone to watch our 3.5 yo before school, drop him off, pick him up mid day, and watch him after. We found Shelbi and she was so much more. Not only did she watch him but she interacted with him throughout the entire day. She always had activities planned like the library, splash pad, playground, or crafts. She brought her son along who with her and that worked out very well. My son trusted her and felt safe with her. She was able to connect with him even when he was having a temper tantrum and she worked on recognizing and verbalizing his feelings. She’s reliable, on time, flexible, and responsible. During the summer she watched our 5 yo son as well and made watching 4 boys look easy. We are very fond of Shelbi and will miss her. However our needs have changed and we know that we will stay friend’s with her and her son.
