About Shelbie

Hello all! I'm currently a preschool teacher at an arts school in Raleigh, and I'm looking to transition into nannying again full time! I have 8 years experience working with children, mostly nannying but Ive also tutored, worked at a summer camp, and now i'm a teacher. I graduated from Wake Tech with my associates in arts and knew I always wanted to work with children in some way. I've taken several child developmental classes and through the school i'm CPR certified and have several other certifications regarding child care. I love all things art, music and nature. I think it's healthy and important for children to spend time outside, learning different skills, and indulging in art. I love to create a safe, creative and engaging environment for children. I like working with kids because I love creating a fun and creative environment for any child to just be themselves and have a good time. I love teaching new things and being a good role model.
