Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I currently work as a Direct Support Professional in a group home setting for adults with Intellectual challenges. Previously I worked as an Educational Assistant at Jewell Elementary and Caldera High and I have worked as a seasonal employee for Bend Parks and Recreations Therapeutics Recreation program as an inclusion facilitator. I've worked with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, Down syndrome and a variety of other intellectual disabilities. As the parent of a child with a disability I feel I have a unique perspective that enables me to provide meaningful, compassionate and encouraging supports to individuals that I work with. I am First Aid and CPR certified and have an Oregon Food Handlers card and have completed the first tier of trainings required by the State of Oregons Direct Support Professional training.
