About Sheila

Hi! I'm Sheila - a dedicated and compassionate caregiver with over 8 years of experience supporting children's growth through structured care, creative play, and academic enrichment. I have a Bachelor's in Global Studies from The New School, and my background spans nannying, tutoring, and afterschool education. I've worked with children ranging from infants to 14 years old, providing part-time and full-time care for private families, as well as serving in schools and afterschool programs. My experience includes infant care, bottle feeding, introducing solids, and developmental play: school-age care, including managing routines, transportation, and homework help; academic tutoring in English Language Arts, including for multilingual learners; and creative enrichment through visual arts, reading campaigns, and literacy-based activities.
