Supporting the well-being and independence of seniors is my true calling, a passion deepened by the five years I spent caring for my mother during her journey with dementia. My approach is rooted in patience, empathy, and a friendly demeanor. I prioritize understanding your loved one's unique history and personal preferences to build a meaningful, trusting connection. I am skilled in de-escalating stressful situations and managing behavioral changes. I am a very compassionate, sensitive and loving individual. I am looking for weekends and weekday evenings work. I have been with the Federal government for 20 years and currently a Branch Chief and hold a top secret clearance. As a caregiver, I assist with mobility, meal preparation, medical management, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, and transportation. I am willing to obtain CPR Training and First Aid certifications. Ultimately, I strive to treat every person I support with the same love and dignity I provided to my own mother.
