About Sheila

I have 3 years of childcare experience, and 2 years of Montessori teaching experience. I am a lower elementary trained Montessori teacher. I am able to help with any academic needs your family may have along with childcare. Previously, I was a full time nanny to an infant. I also have my CPR certification. I'm very creative, nuturing, and gentle. Working with children is my passion, which is why I am also in school working on my bachelor's in elementary education online, so I am flexible to work full time hours. I encourage independence within the child, and support in teaching practical life skills. I respect different parenting styles, and will uphold your wishes. I don't mind light housekeeping, making easy meals, or taking your children out for activities, and get fresh air. I do have my own transportation. I do not smoke. I am comfortable with pets, and I am also bilingual in Spanish! I can provide references at any time and look forward to hearing from you!
