Sheila, her daughter, and grandson did a good job for us, though a 'powder room' was completely missed and the master bath toilet was unfinished. We agreed on two people for 4 hours and a specific price, but ended up being charged 25% more as the grandson came along too. Then I started getting phone calls from her husband, demanding payment (3 hours after getting the Venmo details) and accusing me of not wanting to pay. There was never a question about not paying. Sheila and I had talked before the bill was submitted and worked everything out, but the phone call and voicemail did not reflect that. It's a shame, she's a lovely lady, and I would have hired her permanently, but not after those phone calls.
