About Sheila

My passion for childcare stems from positive experiences babysitting, combined with my desire to positively impact children's lives. As a former teacher and counselor, now retired, I have four years of experience as a nanny for several families. I love working with children and their families! I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I follow parents' preferred communication methods to keep them informed. I enjoy engaging with children at their level, encouraging creative play, hands-on crafts, and the games they love. I am comfortable caring for one child of any age. I have completed early childhood development coursework and am a certified teacher. I am willing to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I have so much care and love to give, and I look forward to sharing it with your family.
