About Sheila

Patience, empathy, redirect, reframe and perseverance guide my tutoring. I raised a daughter who was dual enrolled in high school and received an AA in Liberal Studies at the same time as finishing high school. She is a thriving college student currently. I bring evidenced-based, improving test anxiety and scores (techniques) to my tutoring with both subjective and objective data. I'd describe my personality as motivating, passionate and creative. I am kind, loyal and a hard-worker. I like tutoring because I like seeing children and adults excel. I started tutoring when I lost my brick and mortar location where I was a health and wellness coach for 30 years. In my spare time, I like to read, research, write, ride bikes, hike and SUP. I am always learning and growing. My skills include being an excellent student and writer. I am a health and wellness and transformational coach and facilitator & Heart-Rate Variability Trainer.
