About Sheila

Hi! I'm Sheila, passionate about helping children learn and grow! As a mom of three (25-year-old in law school, 14, and 12-year-old), I understand parenting from every angle. We recently relocated to Chicago from Ohio, and I'm excited to join this amazing community! I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and have years of experience as both teacher and school administrator (K-12). I've worked everywhere from NYC public schools to suburban districts, so I'm comfortable with children from all backgrounds. I love making learning fun - turning homework into games, outdoor exploration, reading together, or competitive board games! I'm also a fan of art projects and sports activities. Currently between educational roles, I'd love to support families while spending quality time with children. I'm reliable, nurturing, and safety-first.
