About Sheila

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy. I like caring for seniors because I value the opportunity to get to know and understand each person on a deeper level than the everyday, sometimes developing amazing friendships along the way. Caregiving challenges my powers of listening, of observation, and problem-solving. Having the opportunity to make my clients' lives better through acts of service is a privilege I treasure. I started caring for seniors in 2013, when a senior acquaintance from church who lived alone needed help recovering in her home from a planned surgery. I provided her with live-in care giving for three months, and as a bonus we forged a real friendship through that process. In my spare time, I like to garden, have fun with my nieces and nephews, and enjoy time with family and friends.
