About Sheila

Hi! My name is Sheila and I have been nannying since I was 15. My first family had two children, ages 10 and 12, and I worked with them for three years. Starting young helped me learn how to connect with and care for children of different ages. I also worked at a daycare caring for infants and toddlers, and I taught a weekly Spanish class at a Montessori school in Pennington. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in patience, communication, and creating a safe, engaging environment for children. Growing up with a single mom, I helped care for my younger siblings from an early age. Since I was 17, I've taken on responsibilities such as driving them to activities, helping with school routines, cooking, laundry, and bath time. They are now 13 and 11, and I still help support them. I truly enjoy working with children and creating a fun, nurturing, and supportive environment.
