About Shea

After a long career as a 911 Dispatcher, I stepped away from work to care for my aging parents. My mother battled cancer, and my father, a Vietnam veteran, lived with dementia and limited mobility. I provided hands-on care, from hygiene assistance and wound care, to medication management, meal prep and housekeeping, to use of a Hoyer lift and BiPAP. Now that both of my parents have passed, I'm ready to return to work with a renewed sense of purpose as a caregiver, (scheduled for CNA license exam next month) I believe the smallest gestures can profoundly impact someone's day. Even something as small as a visit from a caregiver can bring comfort, connection, and hope. Everyone deserves dignity and respect, in all stages of life. I will care for your loved one with the same tenderness, respect, and attention I give my own family. I spend my spare time with my husband, 3 children, 2 cats and a dog... and I enjoy playing pickleball, practicing calligraphy and decorating my home.
