Hi there! When I turned 13 my mom had a baby, so he became my buddy, I took him everywhere with me. Around my early 20s I worked at a daycare, I was in charge of the toddler room. Later I started working as a nanny for one family. My son was born when I was 21 and I cared for him at home. I started babysitting for the family that I was once a nanny for, a few nights a week, and started babysitting for another family with 3 kids 2 nights a week. I then had my daughter, and stayed home to take care of both kids. They are 16 & 12, so now they don't need me as much. My most current experience has been with caring for a 3-year-old little girl 4 days a week. I feel like I've become a part of their family which has been nice. We often walk to the parks, do arts and crafts, participate in imaginary play & do age appropriate learning games. She will be starting preschool, so I am looking for my next adventure.
