About Shay

Hi! I'm a caring, dependable, and energetic caregiver with a genuine passion for working with children. I believe childhood is such a special time, and I love creating a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where kids can learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids. My experience includes three summers at the YMCA, where I was "Head Counselor" for a group of up to 20 children entering kindergarten, working at a camp for children with learning disabilities, years of babysitting, coaching cheer, and morning and after-school programs with children from kindergarten through sixth grade. I also completed three years of hands-on preschool and child development training in high school and continued studying education in college. In my free time, I enjoy running and spending time outdoors. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted, positive part of your family's support system!
