I hold a Bachelor's in Speech & Hearing (2024) and am pursuing my Master's in Special Education. I've spent two years in classroom settings supporting children with severe disabilities and intensive behavioral needs. I have experience with children with ADHD, ODD, Down syndrome, autism, intellectual disabilities, and genetic disorders. I am also experienced with AAC use, supporting children who rely on devices and systems to communicate. My approach is warm but structured, clear expectations, consistent schedules, and follow-through. You can expect someone loving and firm. I have basic Spanish and ASL skills. While not CPR certified, I am trained in choking recognition and response, with three successful interventions this school year. I also care for animals including cats, dogs, bunnies, geckos, hamsters, and fish. Not comfortable with snakes or insects. Available this summer for families with medically complex or differently-abled children!
