I have experience caring for people with various needs across all backgrounds. Through my two years as an EMT, I worked with many people with complex physical and emotional needs, often being a source of stability and calm during a crisis. My more recent job was as a pediatric mental health specialist, and I worked in a high-acuity inpatient psychiatric unit at Seattle Children's Hospital. The population of patients I served included those with severe behavioral challenges, adhd/add, depression, anxiety, psychosis, chronic illness and ASD. I am patient and love to provide positive reinforcement to help kids better navigate their way through life.
