About Shayla

As the eldest of seven, I've always been in a caregiver position. I've worked for private families, daycares and within my own family taking care of children for years. I enjoy making sure their needs are met and their quality of life is good. I believe it is a blessing to be a part of shaping and nurturing young children as well as a great responsibility to ensure that they transition into the world with a variety of resources and skills to help them succeed. I'm not against using my imagination and getting down on their level or setting firm boundaries and expectations that will help them to grow into happy and prosperous adults. Children are our future and its important to have a support system and a community to help to make sure they reach their full potential
