About Shayla

Hi, my name is Shayla, I'm 24, and I've been caring for kids for years starting with my younger cousins, who I've watched grow from babies into pre-teens, and more recently a family friend's toddler. I'm comfortable with all ages and have experience with everything from nap time to homework help, crafts, and playdates. I've also volunteered in kids clubs, leading games and activities, which has given me a lot of practice keeping little ones engaged and having fun. Now that school is starting again, I'm looking for something flexible, and babysitting is the perfect fit. I'd love to gain more experience working with children, especially as I'm going into the nursing field with a focus on pediatric care. I'm excited to connect with more families, provide safe and reliable care, and create a fun, positive environment where kids feel happy and parents have peace of mind.
