Hello! My name is Shaylah, and I am 36 and have been nannying since 2020. I am currently working for a wonderful family with a 3 1/2-year-old girl, who is the light of my life. Sadly, she is moving next month. I work one day a week at her play school in Ojai called The Magic Garden as well, but that will be letting out for summer at the same time as her move. I am proficient in cooking, cleaning, basic light housekeeping, assisting with appointments, home projects, transportation, nap time, bed time, and more. I love to swim, laugh, I enjoy music, the arts, and creating. Children tend to gravitate towards me, and I'm great with animals. I am currently in massage school (weekends only currently) and am fulfilling a life long dream of becoming a healer by getting my license. We couldn't possibly and adequately express in words how much Shayla has meant to our family; to put it differently, she has BECOME family. She's our daughter C.'s (3.5 years old) best friend. Shayla is genuinely kind and caring and bubbly and always enthusiastic--she is a true ray of sunshine. She was always thinking of new ideas and activities for C. and her to do, and my partner and I always felt confident and secure when they were together. The only reason we're parting ways with this gem of a human is because, unfortunately, we have to move back to LA. I'm having a hard time reviewing what I've typed because of the tears in my eyes. You'll be lucky if you get Shayla to care for your child--she is a genuinely rare and special human being.
