About Shay

Hi! My name is Shahrzad, and I am a recent Registered Nurse graduate with a strong background in childcare and caregiving. I have several years of experience babysitting, nannying, and working in caregiver roles, where I've developed patience, attentiveness, and the ability to connect easily with children of all ages. I am certified in CPR, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), so safety is always my top priority. I am currently taking a short break from hospital work for the next minimum of 6 months and am excited to spend that time doing something I truly enjoy--working with children and supporting families. I am known for being professional, reliable, and punctual, and I strive to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment. I am also fluent in English and Farsi (Persian), which helps me communicate with diverse families and build strong, trusting relationships.
