About Shay

Hi! I'm Shay, a current graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, a Division 1 basketball player, and an experienced, dependable caregiver who genuinely loves working with kids. I've spent years balancing academics, athletics, and childcare, and I bring that same commitment, responsibility, and energy into every family I work with. I recently graduated from the University of Illinois with my bachelor's degree in Communication and Business, and I'm now pursuing my master's in Business Analytics at UW while continuing to play on the women's basketball team. I have experience with children of all ages, from infants to teens, and I've worked as a babysitter, youth sports coach, and camp leader. Whether it's helping with homework, planning fun and active games, managing after-school routines, or simply being a calming presence, I'm someone who brings warmth, structure, and positivity into your child's day.
