I taught in some capacity for 10+ years. I'm reliable, positive and cheerful. I don't take things personally (especially in the classroom) - this gives me great patience with students and creates an open non-judgmental environment for them to explore the process of learning. I began teaching dance for several years to adults. I also tutored Spanish and middle school subjects for a couple years. After that, I moved to South America where I taught English as a Second Language for 4 years - working as an elementary and high school teacher. Later, I moved on to English institutes teaching adults and pre-school ages. For the past couple years, I've been teaching mainly online - ESL and Spanish - with adults and young learners. For young learners especially, I focus on creating a comfortable environment for the students. This is important for students to feel free to explore and take risks in their learning, ultimately growing their trust in themselves and their capabilities.
