About Shawn

I share my home with six wonderful rescue dogs and have a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for animals. I raised and trained a German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever from puppyhood through their senior years. These experiences taught me patience, consistency, companionship, and how to understand dogs' changing needs as they age. I also have experience caring for cats and horses, giving me a broader understanding of different animals' needs, personalities, and routines. As a retired firefighter with 14 years of full-time service, I bring responsibility, honesty, dependability, and compassion to pet care. My career taught me to remain attentive and calm under pressure. Although I am new to professional pet care, I bring decades of personal experience and a genuine love and respect for animals. I enjoy getting to know each animal's personality and helping them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.
