About Shawn

I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. With a graduate degree and over 20 years of educator experience, I create engaging, patient learning environments that foster a love for learning. I actively listen to students, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, breaking down complex problems to build momentum. Communication is key; I provide regular updates to parents, building trust and a collaborative environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I would love to help your student achieve their academic goals!
