About Shawn

I have always been drawn to senior citizens, ever since I was a little girl and used to perform dance recitals at senior centers. I enjoy listening to the stories, and learning from the wit, wisdom and experience of people who have lived many years. My own parents have passed, one from a stroke, the other from Alzheimer's disease (I took care of her for 7 years). I truly believe seniors deserve and need much more companionship, attention, compassion and support than they actually get. I would like to be a part of helping address these issues.
