About Shawn

I have enjoyed many years caring for children, including raising my own three children (as a full-time mom, homemaker and family manager). I home-schooled my kids for 10+ years before they attended public schools. My children are individuals with "2E" autism, ADHD and other neuro-atypicalities. I am very familiar with special needs issues. I work with a wide variety of families & children. I am: background checked, CPR & first aid certified, a college graduate, good cook, non-smoker, vaccinated for Covid, Flu, chickenpox, shingles & Tdap. I love animals. I can help with light housekeeping, tidying, & all-things childcare related. I have experience with BLW, Montessori, & a variety of home-school methodologies & programs. Caring for and helping kids, parents and families by providing high quality childcare & assisting in the management, maintenance and care of house, home & family are my passion, calling and what I do best.
