I have over 15 years experience in taking care of people with special needs. I have worked at the Saleeby Center in South Carolina for five years taking care of adults and children with cerebral palsy, Downs Syndrome, spinal cord injuries, and many other physical and mental handicaps. I am also a mother to a son with special needs. I am a Certified CNA II for the state of North Carolina, CPR and First Aid certified, and have done home health care as well. I love working with people with special needs because they truly are special spirits. I have experience with bathing, grooming, feeding, G Tube, colostomy/ileostomy care, tracheal patients, and stroke victims. I love caring for others and I am nurturing, hard working, and reliable. I am available full time either 9 a.m. -3 p.m. or overnight 6 p.m. -7 a.m.
