About Shawnese

I am a certified Virginia Middle School math and Algebra 1 teacher. This is my 6th year teaching. Over the past 6 years, I have taught all the above subjects in a public school setting. I am contracted to teach Math 7 this year. My learning style for students include exploratory learning tasks, scaffolded learning, project based learning, as well as traditional learning methods. Learning styles per student will vary based on the student. I have taught online as well and prefer to tutor online for students outside of the Fluvanna County Area. Individual and small group sessions available with a max of 5 students per hour session.
